Meet BUDDY... He is a Handsome Jack Russel/Mix 6 yrs old neutered male BUDDY'S STORY: Precious Rescue received a email that Buddy was going to be PTS (put to sleep) on March 21st after being at the Taverese, Fl. Lake County Animal Services for 3 weeks. Buddy's previous owner dropped him off their & said, "I don't want him anymore" My heart breaks for this little guy..He didn't even have a say :( He was transported to PR on Saturday March 24th, were we brought him to the South Fl. Pet Expo @ the West Palm Beach Fairgrounds. Their we had him updated on vaccines, rabies booster & purchased a micro chip, he tested neg. for heartworms which we are so happy about. After getting to know Buddy we have learned much about him quickly...he just wants to be with someone/anyone 24/7, he loves car rides & to snuggle in bed, he is a lap dog, & he loves his exercise (running is his favorite). He attaches himself quickly to his owner(s), he does not like to be left alone & has seperation anxiety if left alone. Because of this we have Buddy working with a wonderful dog trainer with over 30 yrs of experience, together we are working to help Buddy not feel like everyone is going to drop him off & abandon him like his previous owner. We have high hopes for Buddy & know that he will overcome this in time with lots of love, patience & praise to help build his lil confidence. We will happily provide Buddy's continued in home training with his new family. Buddy will continue to feel like a more confident, independant dog & then he wont have to worry that he will be dropped off by someone he loves ever again. "Slim" Shady declawed neutered male Cat is in URGENT need of a FOSTER or ADOPTER.   Slim was dropped off in the middle of the night outside in front of our Rescue with out notice & with NO records or instruction.  We found him at 5:30am squished in his crate full of urine & feces poor boy (must of been in his crate for awhile) :( It was very cold that night & still extremely cold early morning when found. PR immediately took him out of his crate.. I could not believe how heavy he was!!! We cleaned him up giving him fresh water & food, & set up a area for him until we could get him to PR's Vet first thing that morning. "Slim" has now been updated & current on Vaccines, Rabies, he has tested negative for FIV & Diabetes.. YAY!!! & he now has a microchip to protect him if ever lost or abandoned again. Sweet Slim has been professionally groomed & had Flea/Tic Preventative applied. We also found out that he weighed 24 lbs when he was dropped off with us (now wonder he was so heavy..poor boy). We have Slim on a healthy diet to help him loose the weight that was sadly brought on by his previous owner who abandoned him. GREAT things for Slim awaits :) His joints, energy level, life span & over all happiness will come with his weight loss. We have named him "Slim" Shady because we know Slim will get his sexy-back :) & it was pretty shady that he was abandoned the way he was :( Slim is still adapting to being in a new environment with new smells & many other animals. He is VERY Sweet & Affectionate & will make someone a wonderful addition to their family. Because Slim is Declawed he will "always" be a INDOOR CAT ONLY. "GOOFY" Girl is in need of URGENT FOSTER or ADOPT. Goofy is a very sweet & beautiful Brindle Pitty/mix who PR rescued from a High Kill Shelter in Georgia   She has been staying with her Foster Family who can no longer keep her due to Goofy's Silly Puppy Like Personality Goofy happily loves to play & Jump & Run around not realizing how strong she is & that during play she could knock down a small child & injure accidentally.  We recommend a home with older children that can play rough with her :) We will gladly provide In-Home Training from our PR Trainer to help Goofy become the best she can be :) She is up to date on vaccines & rabies, & is spayed WONT YOU ADOPT OR FOSTER "Goofy-Girl" TODAY? This sweet Black Lab was surrendered by a truck driver, he lived his life in a truck, was very thin when surrendered & infested with fleas. He also had a very bad stomach problem because he was fed people food instead of dog food while on the road with his owner. PR had him vetted, groomed & found a Foster home immediately. What a blessing that the Foster Family decided to Adopt him a couple days after fostering.
